WHAT WE COVER

In this interview, we discuss gems like:
  •  Who is he
  • What was the inspiration for the book? Why now?
  • Why did he choose to write a book about his life instead of training? What is the philosophy of the book?
  • How did writing the book help him view his past, did it help him come to peace with it?
  • Did growing up in a remote area help build his own inner strength?
  • Did his parent’s attitude to charity affect his attitude to how he sought goals and completed actions in his later life?
  • How can we learn how to embrace the fear in our own lives (without having to go out and catch rattlesnakes too)
  • How you are not what you say you will do but actually by what you actually do
  • How to understand what your values are in your life and what you consider important to you
  • How can we stop comparing ourselves to others
  • The importance of the people in your life
  • How people might view him after his story becomes mainstream news
  • Did writing the book change him as a person or understand something deeper within himself
  • Kabuki Strength and its impact on the health of major name stars and stars of the future.
  • How did his experience of being a legal guardian of his sisters, help him when he became a father or come to peace with the actions of his parents
  • The philosophy of ‘There is always more’
  • How can you keep in touch with Chris and his new projects?

SOME THINGS TO REFLECT ON

In this interview, a lot of jewels of self-improvement are discussed. Some of these and their associated thoughts include:
  • Chris thinks outside the box when it comes to his rehab, training etc. How could thinking outside the box, allow you to overcome a challenge in your life?
  • Always be analysing and considering how you do things in your life, gym, work etc – there are many studies, methods, protocols that you can start to implement to improve, increase, sort out etc what you need to complete in your working and personal life.
  • It is okay to delegate. Chris setup his leadership teams and businesses so he could step away from his businesses to write his book and trust the business will continue as normal.
  • Struggle and adversity are not to be avoided … they should be sought out
  • Chris started from a very rough place and worked his ass off to transform and become a better man, he moved the needle so far from the rough start to becoming the man and having the life he wants. What could you do by working to move the needle in your life?
  • You are not your story, you are not what has happened to you. You are the actions you take and what you choose to make with your life.
  • We all have inner strength, we just need to learn how to tap into it.
  • If we are not challenging ourselves we are literally dying
  • Chris took responsibility for others at a very young age, even being legally in charge of his sisters for a time. What could you achieve by taking complete responsibility for what you are doing, not just a bit service but true responsibility and treated everything as if you couldn’t fail?
  • You overcome obstacles in your life by small action steps, and build up, becoming more comfortable with the goal, learn and develop the strength you need to then achieve them
  • You get to decide who you are as a person … and achieve this by your actions
  • There is always more in life that you can strive for, there is always another level to reach for the things in your life, you can always put in more effort and try and get all aspects of your life world class. You can’t do everything in the world, you need to decide what is important for you and then work your ass off and go out and achieve them.
  • Learn how to brace properly when you are lifting (video is the property of Mark Bell)

About the Author
I’m a podcaster who interviews great examples of people to discuss and highlight the methods, hacks, tips and procedures you can use in your own life to help you develop and better your life. I would definitely not consider myself an expert, so to improve, I ask them and action it in my own life! My personal journey has been marked by awkwardness and awesomeness, OCD and ‘OMG’. I have suffered with depression, shyness, unhappiness and lack of focus and motivation so I know what’s it like to feel lost and hopeless. Back then, I wished I had a podcast to listen to and find actual fixes and concrete action steps and not just unobtainable suggestions and promotion of their products but couldn’t find it … so I made my own!
